Slot Canyon Candy IV

This image was captured in Lower Antelope Canyon. Lower Antelope is a slot canyon much like its sister canyon Upper Antelope. The lower canyon however is shallower than the Upper canyon and therefore exhibits much different colouring. Where the upper canyon is often warm brown and black tones, the lower canyon exhibits exciting orange, red and blues.

This image is a new image that I have added to the candy series of images. Shot in the fall of 2007, the colours reflect my feeling of the sandstone appearing to be some sort of candy that one could reach out and break off. This slot canyon is without a doubt the prettiest one in the world.
